Custom Content Development Process

The Custom Content Development Process

The TDX Global development team utilizes a consultative and collaborative development process focused on achieving client project goals and delivery of an exceptional product.

At the start of every project, our team of instructional designers, creative and technical writers, multimedia artists and technologist will create a project plan that matches our design and development strategies to best meet your budget, timeline, and unique organizational requirements.

The process generally includes the following steps:

Phase 1: Instructional Design

  • Analysis of the goals and objectives of the custom e-Learning course. This includes meeting with company subject-matter experts to review training materials and course objectives.
  • Develop the learning objectives for the course.
  • Design of the course storyboard. The storyboard includes all course lessons, user interactions and assessments.
  • Client review of the course storyboard to identify edits, revisions, or other content changes.
  • Edits and revisions are implemented in the course storyboard.
  • Approval and “sign off” of the storyboard.

Phase 2: Technical Development

  • Develop and code the course as specified in the course storyboard. The course content, navigation controls, audio narration, and interactive components are developed, reviewed, and tested by TDX Global during this step.
  • Course prototype is posted to a password-protected project site for client review. The client contact provides course feedback and any edit or revision requests to TDX Global.
  • Course update per client feedback.
  • Final course review.
  • Sign off and delivery of final course.
